Fresh off the success of their recent Handball Spezial colorways, Emily Oberg's Sporty & Rich is now teaming up with adidas once again to celebrate the upcoming Olympics and Team USA. This collaboration brings a three-pack of sneakers, all decked out in patriotic hues of red, white, and blue, including the Adistar Cushion, Handball Spezial, and Samba OG.
Sporty & Rich's adidas Adistar Cushion features a predominantly white mesh upper, providing a breathable and lightweight feel. Metallic Silver overlays add a touch of modern flair, complemented by night indigo accents. These accents are found on the edging of the silver and red Three Stripes, the toebox overlays, and panels on the tongue and lateral heel, the latter proudly displaying Sporty & Rich branding.
Red accents further enhance the design, appearing on the TPU eyelets and nylon lace loops. Inside, the insoles are split blue and red with metallic gold Sporty & Rich branding, adding a premium touch. The shoe is finished with a white and night indigo adiPRENE+ cushioning setup underfoot, paired with a tri-colored red, white, and blue rubber outsole for a cohesive and striking look.
For the Handball Spezial and Samba OG, we see a primarily red and primarily white finish, respectively. The Handball comes with red suede across the upper, white leather on the Three Stripes, and navy hues on the leather heel tab. On the other hand, the Samba OG comes with a white tumbled leather base, tan suede on the toe, and navy and red hues on the suede Three Stripes. Both feature Sporty & Rich logos on the tongue and on the lateral midfoot as well as co-branded insole.
The Sporty & Rich x adidas Team USA Pack will release on July 29, 2024, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Sporty & Rich will release the pairs on July 26.
