Musk’s SpaceX brand went public today, and to celebrate the occasion, the richest man in the world made custom sneakers. Still not cool enough for an officially sanctioned collaborative product, the SpaceX Nike Tennis Classic Customs were made in money green with white SpaceX branding at the heel to match the heel tab and the midsole.

The SpaceX IPO Nike Tennis Classic Customs popped up where all cool shoes do, on the Goldman Sachs Twitter, I mean X, page, as well as the Wall Street Journal. In a different photo posted by Musk, another group of IPO celebrators is seen showing off matching pairs of Nike KD 18s in more monochrome green.

It wasn’t that long ago that sneaker culture was a niche corner of the fashion world, but these days, the sneakerhead energy has gone so mainstream that it's popping up at interstellar stock market parties.
