The South Park x adidas Campus 80s “Towelie” is a prime example of a perfect collaboration. The sneaker was executed flawlessly by all parties involved. The only argument one can have is that there weren't enough pairs available for everyone (mainly myself) due to their limited nature, but, I digress. Following up on their instant success, South Park and adidas have teamed back up with their second collab of 2021.
A new take on the classic adidas Stan Smith, this pair pays tribute to one of the main characters of the show, Stan Marsh. The South Park x adidas Stan Smith “Stan Marsh” edition comes in a bluebird, scarlet and white colorway. Inspired by Stan’s iconic beanie hat, the sneaker features a blue-based leather upper with a reinforced red suede stripe wrapping around the midsole from the quarter panel to spine. A suede tongue with a custom tongue tag featuring Stan Marsh in place of the iconic Stan Smith, debossed “Sweet Dude” text across the back heel tab and a white rubber sole complete the look.
The South Park x adidas Stan Smith “Stan Marsh” is set to release in 2022. It will launch at adidas as well as select retailers both in-store and online.
