It doesn’t matter if you have been running around the GTA universe since the days of CJ Johnson and Tommy Vercetti or you’ve never picked up a video game controller in your life; you’re aware that Grand Theft Auto 6 is releasing this year. Arguably the most anticipated video game of all time (sorry, Half-Life 3), GTA 6 will finally be playable on November 19, 2026. Now, after getting a detailed look at gameplay features, we’ve got news of a PlayStation 5 controller collab bringing Vice City to your PlayStation.
GTA 6 PS5 Controller Details
Unveiled during Sony’s latest State of Play event, which also revealed the LEGO PS1 set, the two colors of the GTA 6 DualSense 5 controllers feature accenting colors and designs that nod to the latest Grand Theft Auto game. Palm tree graphics cover the grips, while the triangle, circle, x, and square buttons, as well as the arrows, get a pink neon-soaked Vice City finish. An iridescent gradient finish is applied to the inside portion of the controller, with a nice final touch features the “VI” graphic applied to the touchpad.
GTA 6 PS5 Controller Release Info
Both colors of the Grand Theft Auto 6 limited edition DualSense controllers will be released on November 19, 2026 through PlayStation and select retailers online and in-store. A pre-order via PlayStation Direct will take place on September 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM local time. Retail is set at $85.
