Sneakersnstuff, also known as SNS, continues to produce collaborations with great storytelling features. This was recently seen when they linked up with New Balance on a set of Made In UK 991’s based on the original colorways of their first-ever collaboration with the brand almost 20 years prior. Now the Stockholm-based retailer is bringing back an archival adidas silhouette they helped revive with their city-based series, moving to the west coast and the City Of Angels with the SNS x adidas GT “LA.”
Covering the low-top silhouette is a creamy, brown-colored hemp canvas underlay accented by a cream tongue and lace combo. Faux fur on the midfoot’s Three Stripes and heel tab overlays comes in a light brown. Branding details throughout remain the same with the adidas Trefoil on the heel and tongue as well as the previously mentioned Three Stripes on the profile, though the normal “adidas GT” writing replaces the brand with SNS. Tying the sneaker to Los Angeles is the insoles graphic featuring a map of the city in gold alongside adidas branding. Rounding out the look is the Handball Spezial midsole and outsole in a gum finish.
The SNS x adidas GT LA is set to release exclusively through SNS online and in-store on April 23rd, 2022. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $119.
