Sneaker boutique Sneakersnstuff is famous for their wide selection of products and keen eye for design on collaborative efforts. Teaming up with New Balance for the first time all the way back in 2005 on a New Balance 577, SNS is calling back to these early days. It’s time to celebrate 40 years of Made In UK New Balance with an upcoming pack of 991s.
Designed by the two co-founders of SNS, Erik and Peter, these two 991’s come constructed out of premium leather and pigskin suede across the overlays. Erik’s pair comes dressed in bright colors, with yellow and blue overlays dressing the majority of the sneaker and white making up the base layer. Peter’s color scheme on the other hand goes for a darker tone, featuring a dark navy along the middle of the sneaker with hits of grey and white on the back and front respectively.
Aside from color, the two pairs come branded identically. Forgoing any SNS branding on the upper, the usual New Balance 991 Made In UK tongue tag is present with N being featured on the midfoot and 991 making it onto the heel. Insoles imprinted with SNS and New Balance co-branding mark the only spot where the European retailer is directly mentioned. Rounding out the look on both pairs is a white and grey Abzorb cushioned midsole and black outsole.
Both pairs of SNS x New Balance Made In UK are set to release on February 26th, 2022. They will drop exclusively through SNS online and in-store at all locations worldwide. Coming in unisex sizing, both colorways will retail for $259 each, for men and women.
