Fresh off the heels of their “Blue Racer” 237 and “SNS Sports World” 920, the Stockholm-based retailer and New Balance have linked back up to work on the classic 574 silhouette. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of raw nature, Sneakersnstuff has linked up with NYC-based designer Elijah Anderson for an extensive poster campaign that mimics classic New Balance ads with his signature creative twist. In addition, the retailer will be hosting various nature-inspired events and activations, including a special menu at the SNS Tokyo Cafe and a natural wine event at SNS NYC.
Now, onto the kicks. The SNS x New Balance 574 comes in a green and purple colorway. Featuring a green-based upper in various earthy tones, made up of premium pigskin nubuck, soft synthetic leather and a nylon liner. Beige accents the tongue, laces and ENCAP cushioned midsole while violet purple is found on the medial side “N” logos, branding throughout the outside and inside tongue tags, liner and insoles. The 1988 classic is finished off by a black rubber outsole and extra sets of laces.
