Sneaker Politics has been a heavyweight in the sneaker collab game for years. The Louisiana-based boutique with shop locations across Texas has teamed up with everyone from adidas and Puma to ANTA and Asics. For its latest partnership, the brand is bringing its Southern roots to the forefront with the help of Timberland.
Another Politics Collab with Southern Charm
Taking on the iconic 6-Inch Boot, the Sneaker Politics x Timberland collab debuted in a zoomed-in Instagram post from the boutique alongside nothing else but a release date. Shortly after, the two pair collection loaded on the retailer's website, revealing a brown Rodeo colorway and the black Outlaw pair.
Both pairs feature cowboy boot-inspired stitching details added to the toebox and beneath the collar. 20th anniversary hangtags for Sneaker Politics adorn each pair in matching colors, and a Sneaker Politics "P" is added on the reverse of the tongue, but that's where the similarities end. The brown Rodeo pair opts for cow print on the collar and a light tan midsole, while the black pair uses faux croc skin collar and black sole unit
