Founded by Dan Colen about two and a half hours north of NYC, Sky High Farms has been successfully feeding communities in need thanks to their 30-acre farm that runs on volunteer work as well as funding from their workwear brand. For their first collaboration with the storied Massachusetts founded Converse, Sky High Farms Workwear is adding their classic logo to the Chuck Taylor All-Star 70.
Keeping the classic black and white colorblocking the Chuck Taylor is famous for, SHF Workwear instead opts to include their motto and strawberry moon logo on the branding portion of the silhouette. Throughout the black canvas, white accent stitching provides depth to the humble model, placing more white details on the laces and rubber toecap. On the lateral side, the SHF design of a strawberry and the moon embracing replaces your usual Chuck Taylor star, though the medial side features the classic logo with some slight redesigns.
The farm's motto “Love your neighbor, feed your neighbor” is split between the top and bottom of the circular logo, also adding a cartoon smiley face to the center of the blue star. Back on the heel, the usual Converse All-Star label remains the standard on the right pair while receiving the same blue smiley face makeover as the uppers logo on the right. Rounding out the look is the white vulcanized rubber midsole and gum rubber outsole.
The Sky High Farm Workwear x Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70 is set to release on June 28th, 2022 through Converse, SHF Workwear’s website, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
