SHUSHU/TONG x Asics Gel-Kinetic Fluent Pt 2

The low-cut, balletcore trend that has taken over the women’s sneaker industry this year has brought all sorts of lacey, bowed, dressed up shoes, especially in collaborations with women’s fashion labels. At Asics, the trend is continuing through the end of the year, but with this collaborator, putting a bow on top of the laces is nowhere near new.

The latest SHUSHU/TONG x Asics Gel-Kinetic Fluent collection is the third pack of lacey shoes from the two brands, including a similarly bowed design in 2022. This time around, the SHUSHU/TONG team once again returns to the Gel-Kinetic Fluent, the same silhouette that the Chinese label added lace to in August of this year.

Combining the two past collabs into a melded mix. The SHUSHU/TONG x Asics Gel-Kinetic Fluent Pt 2 collection features two shoes, one in two-tone black and white and the other in a shiny metallic silver monochrome. Both shoes take the standard Gel-Kinetic Fluent and add a massive bow to the top, connected with a velcro strap and with padding added in between the loops to keep its shape. If you’re looking for a holiday present for a ballet-core fan in your life, this one comes pre-wrapped.

The latest SHUSHU/TONG x Asics Gel-Kinetic Fluent collection will be released December 2025 through SHUSHU/TONG, Asics, and select retailers in-store and online.
