At the young age of 24, Sean Pablo has achieved what many could only dream of in such a short window, founding clothing brand Paradise NYC in 2015, working with Supreme and landing a deal with Converse. The latter of the three has been a creative outlet for Pablo to combine his love for fashion and skating into one, releasing a baby pink colorway on the Converse One Star Ox Pro back in 2021. It seems this silhouette is a favorite of his as the latest collaborative effort between Sean and Converse will replace the pink shades with an all-over "Rapid Teal."
The upper of the silhouette comes dressed in the aforementioned rapid teal across its suede construction with black and white accenting details throughout. Laces opt for the dark shade while stitching around the panels comes in a stark white shade. Around the midfoot, the Paradise NYC logo is embossed into the suede, cut off by the cow fur star logo. On the spine of the heel, this same cow fur is used while the black sockliner nearby gets accented by images from his Paradise brand. Underfoot, the white vulcanized rubber midsole gets stamped with a message from Pablo, “The Path To Paradise Begins In Hell,” which appears in blue. Rounding out the look is the classic One Star Ox Pro rubber outsole.
The Sean Pablo x Converse One Star Ox Pro Rapid Teal is set to release on August 25th, 2022 through Converse and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $80.
