The sports scenes in Boston, Tokyo, and London are pretty different. The football obsession in Boston is not the same football obsession in London, and while baseball is certainly a big deal in Tokyo and Beantown, the sumo culture just doesn’t translate. From the track to the street, though, the world is connected by running, and the latest collection of Saucony sneakers ties together the global cities with a marathon pack inspired by three of the world’s most famous races.

The Saucony Marathon Collection features six pairs of shoes, three pairs of the Endorphin Speed 5 inspired by the three cities' marathon days, and a matching lifestyle silhouette for each city: a ProGrid Guide 7 for Boston, a Ride Millennium for London, and a ProGrid Omni 9 for Tokyo.

On the race-ready performance Endorphin Speed 5 side of the collection, the Boston pair takes on a simple white mesh upper, but adds a vibrant multi-color midsole inspired by the colors inside the city’s subway system. The London pair keeps things simple up top as well, adding a red midsole with rose prints inspired by the city’s rose gardens and red and white flag. On the Tokyo pair, plum blossom graphics are added to the upper, and a yellow midsole underfoot.

The lifestyle pairs follow the same theme, with Boston’s ProGuide 7 adding more subway color combos to the midsole, a red, white, and gold mesh runner for London, and a black mesh ProGrid Omni 9 with a yellow sole and blossom graphics on the ankle collar for the show-stealing Tokyo pair.

The Saucony Marathon Collection is available now through Saucony and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail prices are set at $175 for the three Endorphin Speed 5 pairs, $135 for the ProGrid Guide 7 Boston, $110 for the Ride Millennium London, and $155 for the ProGrid Omni 9 Tokyo.
