Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, you’ll know that running has never been more popular. Open Instagram or TikTok and your feed’s a sea of pace charts, Strava screenshots, and medal selfies. With everyone signing up for races and chasing PBs, Saucony is paying tribute to the world’s most iconic marathons with its latest drop – the Saucony City Pack. A love letter to Tokyo, Boston, and London, this trio celebrates the spirit of the sport through three distinct sneakers with stories as rich as the cities themselves.
Kicking off the pack is the Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 Tokyo. Originally released in the late '00s as a stability shoe, the Omni 9 helped define the label’s golden era of performance tech. This updated take works atop a geometric mesh base with slick leather overlays. The sneaker is dressed mostly in black, contrasted by a multi-colored tongue and collar inspired by the Japanese capital’s neon nightlife. Down below, the midsole is dipped in a vibrant yellow – a subtle nod to Tokyo’s distinctive canary yellow sidewalks.

Next up is the Saucony ProGrid Guide 7 Boston. A nod to the brand’s American roots, this model channels the legacy of the world’s oldest annual marathon. With breathable white mesh uppers and a rainbow-colored sole, it captures the fierce local pride that takes over Beantown every April.
Completing the trio is the Saucony Ride Millennium London. Originally a millennium-era performance runner, it returns here in crisp white with metallic gold and red accents – a color scheme that mirrors the Big Smoke’s iconic red buses.
Saucony has long been a favorite among runners in the States, but in recent years it’s been steadily growing its presence across Europe and Asia – and collections like the Saucony City Pack are only accelerating that momentum. A release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but expect it to land Holiday 2025 via Saucony and select retailers both online and in-store.
