Satou Sabally Debuts Her First adidas DON Issue 6 PE
Published
The offseason for Phoenix Mercury star Satou Sabally was quite eventful. She was traded from her original team, the Dallas Stars, to Phoenix, and left Jordan Brand in favor of adidas. During her tenure at JB, Sabally was spotted with several PEs, including an Air Jordan 37 and two Jordan Luka 3s, one inspired by sunflowers and the other by coral reefs. A few weeks into the 2025 WNBA season, Satou has debuted her first-ever adidas PE sneaker.
For her first player-exclusive design, adidas has given Sabally her version of Donovan Mitchell’s adidas DON Issue 6. The color palette is an obvious homage to her new home in Phoenix, with the mesh and TPU upper coated in purple hues. Star graphics land on the midfoot panel and run back to the heel, which features a unicorn logo as a nod to her nickname. This same unicorn is also applied to the insole.
Sabally’s number 0 is applied to the tongue, while more personalized details are found inside the tongue. Here, the words “Zero Fear” and “Epic Things” are split between the left and right shoes, with both being words she lives by. Underfoot sits a tonal midsole and outsole, the former featuring her brother’s names, Amadou and Marabie, on the medial sides and the latter containing her SaSa signature below the translucent rubber.
Unfortunately for fans of Satou, her adidas DON Issue 6 PE will remain exclusive to her. Check below for detailed images of the pair, and download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
