If you’re going to debut a new silhouette, a Kith collab is never a bad place to start. As Salomon prepared for the latest expansion of its long-running XT sneaker line, the XT-Evo got an early run in two colorways designed by Ronnie Fieg and Kith. The bright yellow and tonal black and purple colorways immediately drew our attention, and now, Salomon is back with a full-scale release of the silhouette with three debut in-line colorways.

An XT Evolution

The Salomon XT-Evo continues the XT line in the footsteps of the popular XT-4 and XT-6, this time with a more streamlined design that fits into the overall industry’s obsession with all things Y2K, returning to a futuristic turn-of-the-century vibe. Featuring the same wavy upper paneling and classic trail runner sole XT fans love, the new model is set to hit the in-line catalog in three new colorways: Triple Black, Grey, and a Red/Black combo.

The Red/Black colorway is a tribute to the OG colorway of the Salomon XT-6, welcoming the Evo to the XT family in style. Featuring a black ripstop fabric at the top of the upper and on the tongue, the side panels and toebox are covered by a wavy armored TPU overlay that strikes across the lateral side and adds a dark red gradient to the medial side.

Salomon XT-Evo Release Details
