Diving into the details, Salehe Bembury’s latest take on the New Balance 1906R displays a delightful blend of blue, orange, and purple, evoking a sense of playful exuberance. A vivid orange mesh base sets the tone, complemented by contrasting blue and purple overlays. The orange laces stand out against a purple tongue, proudly sporting the signature New Balance 1906R branding. Further embellishments come in the form of the unmistakable "N" logo on the midfoot, accentuated by a Salehe Bembury-branded tag. To the rear, an orange TPU heel reinforcement draws attention, while a plush maroon foam midsole paired with a purple rubber outsole rounds out the design.
The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1906R Heat Be Hot Magma will release on January 11, 2024, through Be A Spunge's website. A wider release, possibly through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store, should take place in the coming weeks. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $170.
