Though Salehe Bembury has a storied past working with the likes of Yeezy and Versace, the talented designer has risen to prominence in recent years thanks in part to his collaborations with New Balance. After teasing his Crocs Pollex collab for a good chunk of 2021, the silhouette finally saw a release in December with an instant sellout following suit. Now the man behind the redesign has announced that three more colorways of the Crocs Pollex Clog are on the way.
Coming in green, white, and lavender (titled Crocodile, Stratus, and Urchin respectively), the new one-piece mold designed by Bembury resembles his own fingerprint, a motif he so often chooses to include on his designs. The “sports mode” straps on the heel also come redesigned, using a nylon strap and plastic buckle that holds the Salehe Bembury and Crocs co-branded heel counter. Underfoot the fingerprint theme continues in a shade slightly different to the upper.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog in “Crocodile,” “Urchin,” and “Stratus” are set to release in May of 2022. Salehe has confirmed that all three colorways will be available on beaspunge.com on May 24th. Expect a wider release via Crocs and select retailers online and in-store shortly thereafter. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $85.
