Anime lovers and sneakerheads rejoice as another installment of the Sailor Moon x Vans Collection is set to arrive soon. Previously having dropped a wide range of silhouettes, clothing, and accessories, the latest installment features the Vans Old Skool Overt CC.
Donning a mixture of grey and black across the majority of the sneaker, the silhouette is blessed with Sailor Moon imagery throughout. Along the toebox, the iconic checkerboard pattern comes in a mix of black and grey with pink stitching details on the vamp providing some pop. Going up the tongue is a set of laces that houses the transformation brooch used by Usagi from the show. Atop the tongue, the Vans logo gets a pink makeover matching the nearby stitching details. Sailor Moon characters make their appearance along the midfoot with Sailor Moon’s and Luna’s outlines present on the lateral side of the left and right pair respectively. Underfoot, a 360-degree sculpted midsole takes on an all-black look while the rubber outsole down below gets dressed in pink.
The Sailor Moon x Vans Old Skool Over CC Pretty Guardian is slated to release on July 22nd, 2022 through Vans and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in unisex sizing, the retail price is TBA.
