Few collaborative series are as prolific as Ronnie Fieg/Kith’s long-term partnership with Asics. Over the last decade-plus, the duo has released over 100 different sneakers, though the origins of the Fieg x Asics relationship can be traced to the Japanese label’s iconic Gel-Lyte III silhouette. Even though the sneaker is in the midst of celebrating its 35th birthday in 2025, the output from Asics has been slim, only acknowledging the milestone with a Mita Sneakers project. However, it appears Fieg and Kith are revisiting the sneaker later this year thanks to a teaser video posted by Ronnie himself.

Ronnie Fieg last touched the Gel-Lyte III with a Remastered version of the model in May 2024 to celebrate Kith Seoul’s grand opening. Like that pair, this new Kith x Asics Gel-Lyte III features a quilted base layer, now with additional embroidery on the leather base.

Baby blue hues are found along the suede paneling of the mudguard, lower midfoot, heel, and collar in varying hues to contrast the white and cream found on the rest of the model. The model’s split tongue design contains “FIEG” text embroidered on the right side, while the heel tab places Asics text in a tonal finish. Final details include a cream set of laces, tonal cream Asics tiger stripes on the midfoot, and debossed Gel-Lyte III logos on the lateral heel.

The Kith x Asics Gel-Lyte III Cream Blue should release sometime before 2025 is finished through Kith online and in-store.
