One partnership that has brought avant-garde fashion to the world at a more affordable rate, Rick Owens x Converse, is continuing to collaborate with their upcoming DRKSHDW TURBOWPN coming alongside a DRKSHDW TURBODRK Chuck 70 that takes on the appearance of a “Zebra.”
Combining Rick Owen’s infamous DRKSHDW silhouette and the Chuck 70, a squared-off toe alongside extended proportions creates a high-fashion look. The iconic rubber toecap remains and comes in a cream hue while the upper is covered in faux fur that resembles that of a zebra with black stripes running throughout. Tonal white laces run up the tongue, stopping near the collar and the extended portion that contains co-branded Rick Owens and Converse logos. Underfoot, a vulcanized rubber midsole comes with split branding on the heel while the rubber outsole below comes in a dark gum finish.
The Rick Owens x DRKSHDW x Converse TURBODRK Chuck 70 Zebra is set to release on January 10th, 2023 through Nike SNKRS and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
