Reebok Signs Washington Mystics Rookie Center Lauren Betts

This week’s WNBA Draft was full of stars, dramatic trades, fire fashion, and at least a few easily predictable picks. In addition to Azzi Fudd’s spot at the top of the draft, newly minted National Champion Lauren Betts was pretty much a lock for a top 5 pick, making it no surprise when she got swooped off the board by the Washington Mystics at the fourth spot.

Before the biggest month of her life comes to a close, the now-former UCLA center added another accolade to her April, signing a new endorsement deal with Reebok. Joining Angel Reese, Lexi Morrow, Aneesah Morrow, and DiJonai Carrington, Betts adds a huge presence to Reebok’s strong roster of WNBA players.

“We would like to welcome Lauren Betts to the Reebok Basketball family,” Reebok wrote on Instagram. “The highly decorated 6'7" All-American center is fresh off a national championship, where she earned accolades for her play. As the No. 4 pick in this year’s WNBA Draft, she is a dominant interior presence, poised to bring that same impact to the pro game.”

To follow that up, Angel Reese stopped by in the comments to add “another BADDIEEEEE.” So far, we haven’t seen which shoes Betts will rock from Reebok, but expect her to step into the Nation’s Capital in plenty of PE colorways.
