Collegiate colorways on sneakers date way back to the 80s when Nike introduced the world to their Dunk silhouette with the “Be True To Your School” campaign. Since then, some of the most sought-after sneakers across the industry happen to take inspiration from school colors, and Reebok is no exception. While Allen Iverson, played at Georgetown University in his college days, his signature silhouette with Reebok, the Question Mid, has just been spotted in “Miami Hurricanes” colors.
Just like the logo and uniforms from the University of Miami, this Question Mid takes on a combination of green, orange, and white across its leather upper. Around the toecap, pebbled leather takes on a dark green hue while the lace set up above comes in a two-tone aqua blue and white. Weaving in and out of the “Reebok” branded eyestays, the lace set stops right beneath the Reebok vector logo, seen in green and orange. This same exact logo and color scheme also lands on the quarter panel, surrounded by white pebbled leather. Back on the heel tab, more green leather is found with an embroidered Reebok Question logo getting a white makeover. Underfoot, the Hexalite-cushioned midsole comes in white with clear Hexalite units on the heel and forefoot while the semi-translucent rubber outsole comes in icy blue.
The Reebok Question Mid Miami Hurricanes is set to release in 2022 through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
