With the 90s being a golden era for basketball sneakers, models from this time period are looked at with rose-tinted glasses and beloved when they make returns. For Reebok, its Pump technology was a craze in its own right, and even if it is still utilized on models to this day, the classic OG silhouettes from its debut era bring many back to a simpler time. Reviving the Reebok Pump Twilight Zone in its OG color, the “Black White” Pump TZ is almost here.
Keeping its OG construction, the multi-layered leather and TPU upper take on the iconic OG color scheme of black, white, and orange with the former and latter of the three shades acting as accent colors to the white leather panels. Perforated details land on the toebox while the midfoot features a TPU eyestay in black, allowing the white lace set to rest in place. Atop the tongue, we see the classic “The Pump” branding on a basketball-like rubber button that sits atop a black portion. Reebok branding on the lateral heel displays the brand proudly in black while our final hits of black on the upper come surrounding the grey padded sockliner. Underfoot sits a foam midsole in white paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Reebok Pump Twilight Zone Black White is set to release on February 17th, 2023 through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
