Reebok continues to innovate within the running shoe market, expanding its FloatZig Running Shoe franchise, a performance running line that merges Floatride Energy Foam with the iconic Zig Tech midsole. Following the successful introduction of the FloatZig in spring, Reebok now unveils two new models: the high-performance FloatZig X1 and the rugged FloatZig 1 Adventure.
The FloatZig series has garnered significant attention and has been praised for its springy and lightweight design. The latest additions aim to build on this momentum. The FloatZig X1 is engineered for marathon racing and long-distance training. This model features a full-length carbon fiber plate sandwiched between dual-density foam layers, providing runners with a responsive, energy-efficient ride and premium stability. The deconstructed engineered mesh upper ensures breathability and a lightweight feel, while the outsole is optimized for durability without adding extra weight. The FloatZig X1 weighs 9.1oz with a 6mm drop, making it a top choice for serious runners.
For those who prefer trails over tracks, the FloatZig 1 Adventure offers enhanced traction and durability tailored for outdoor exploration. Its sticky rubber outsole with angled lugs delivers superior grip and control on various terrains, complemented by a no-debris plate base designed to tackle rugged paths. The FloatZig 1 Adventure weighs 10.3oz and also features a 6mm drop, making it ideal for trail runners and ultralight hikers. In addition to these new models, Reebok is releasing new seasonal colorways for the FloatZig 1 and FloatZig Symmetros.
The Reebok FloatZig X1 and FloatZig 1 Adventure will debut on June 28, 2024, through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200 for the FloatZig X1 and $150 for the FloatZig Adventure.
