When it comes to footwear offerings from Reebok, basketball is unfortunately not the brand's strong suit. While they do offer some unique and comfortable options that utilize modern technology, retro sneakers, specifically those tied to Allen Iverson, reign supreme. On top of the recent looks at both the release and F&F version of the Panini x Reebok Question Mid, the British-based company is set to bring us an Answer IV colorway in classic Philadelphia 76ers throwback colors.
As with most Answer IV colorways, this “76ers Throwback” option comes dressed in an all-leather upper with the majority getting a white tumbled leather finish. Accenting this, the toebox and its blue smooth leather panel extend around the edge of the sole unit and wraps back up towards the heel tab. Red accenting details land on the piping of the tongue, branding details along the sole unit, and via the red zipper that hides the lacing system. For added flair, the sockliner gets a blue makeover with the insole featuring a portrait of AI and his various tattoos. Rounding out the design is a foam midsole that gets a split blue and white makeover paired with a similarly shaded rubber outsole.
The Reebok Answer IV 76ers Throwback is set to release on October 7th, 2022 through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
