As the anticipation for his forthcoming album "Rocket Power" reaches new heights, Quavo has chosen to commemorate this milestone in tandem with Jordan Brand on a custom Air Jordan 1 Low.
Similar to Travis Scott’s recent Air Force 1 Low "Utopia," Quavo reimagines a "Triple White” AJ 1. A pristine palette cloaks the silhouette, with premium white leather dominating its entirety. Gold constellations are sprawled across the Swoosh and midfoot, lending the sneaker an astral ambiance in tribute to the "Rocket Power" theme. A rocket emblem, another nod to the album, is gracefully poised on the heel. Every pair is accompanied by a specially-designed card, highlighting the star and rocket imageries. These space-themed motifs are done in tribute to Quavo’s nephew and former Migos member Takeoff, who tragically was murdered last year.
The Quavo x Air Jordan 1 Low Rocket Power will release August 15, 2023, exclusively through Goodtimes ATL in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is TBA.
