Wicked’s move to the big screen with a Hollywood blockbuster led by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande brought the Broadway classic Wizard of Oz retelling back to the cultural forefront, and now Puma is getting in on the fun on the other side of the rainbow.

The Wicked x Puma Speedcat collection features three shoes: an Elphaba-themed Speedcat, a Goodness-themed Speedcat, and an intricately stitched silver Speedcat ballet slipper. The women’s exclusive pack features lacey ribbon accents and Wicked logos on the tongues, allowing fans of the play, book, and movie to rep their favorite characters on foot.

Elphaba’s Speedcat Elphie takes its name from the protagonist of the story’s nickname, giving the Wicked Witch of the West’s shoe a black suede T-toe with stitching in the play’s iconic green bordering every line, and ruffles of black lace covering the rest of the upper and the tongue, where Wicked is printed in bold green letters. The Goodness Speedcat is designed for Glinda the Good Witch, in the same shades of lilac purple worn by Grande’s character in the film. Featuring leather on the T-toe, bubble graphics on the heel, and a strip of ribbon surrounding the laces, the contrast in the two Speedcats is a perfect take on the story.

The final shoe in the collection, the silver Speedcat Ballet Slipper, is a bright, shining version of the original slipper that sends Dorothy home, transitioned from its ruby remix to its original silver from the 1900 version of the story. This isn’t the first time the iconic slipper has been turned into a sneaker, with Nike SB dropping its own Dunk version of Dorothy’s footwear.

The Wicked x Puma Speedcat collection will be released November 5, 2025 (just a few weeks before Wicked: For Good hits theaters) through Puma and select retailers in-store and online. Available in women’s, grade school, and pre-school sizing, the retail prices are set at $110 (adult), $90 (GS), and $80 (PS) for the Speedcats, and $90 (adult) and $75 (GS) for the Speedcat Ballet Slipper.
