Pokemon x Puma All-Pro Nitro 2 Pikachu
Pokemon x Puma Collection

The culture can’t get enough Pokémon. After decades of peaking and waning popularity for the franchise, complete with TV shows, video games, playing cards, movies, and merch of every kind imaginable, the Poké obsession has reached a new peak thanks to social media and a growing cohort of nostalgic millennials with real jobs and money to burn. On the sneaker side of the fandom, Puma has been giving Pokémon lovers the footwear of their dreams.

The latest pair from the Puma x Pokémon collection is a charged-up colorway of the All-Pro Nitro 2 performance basketball shoe inspired by the OG Pokémon star, Pikachu. We first got a look at the yellow and red Pikachu hoop shoe at the beginning of the month, and now, new photos of Puma’s latest Pokémon collab clothing capsule have given us a fresh on-foot look at the Pika pair.

Releasing to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, the Pokémon x Puma All-Pro Nitro 2 Pikachu features a mix of yellow and black across the tough mesh upper, with a white lightning graphic filling in the stripe logo on the toe, red patches inspired by Pikachu’s cheeks, and a Pikachu graphic with a Pokémon logo jolting off the medial side panel.

In addition to the All-Pro Nitro 2, the collection features a four-pack of lifestyle shoes, adding a Pikachu-themed pair of the Fade, another Fade for Umbreon, and a pair of Inverse for Mimikyu and Mostros for Espeon. Beyond the shoes, the collection adds set of airbrush-style Pokémon x Puma t-shirts and a spacey Mewtwo basketball jersey and shorts set.

The Pokémon x Puma All-Pro Nitro 2 Pikachu will be released April 2, 2026 through Puma and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $140. For all the latest Pokémon x Puma sneaker collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
