Puma has found significant success by delving into its archives, bringing back iconic silhouettes such as the Mostro. Originally launched in 1999, the Mostro is named after the Italian word for "monster," a fitting description for a sneaker that draws inspiration from diverse realms—sprinting spikes of the '60s and surfing shoes of the '80s. As Puma continues to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of this unique model, the brand is set to release two new colorways in a special Perforated Leather Pack.
The upcoming Puma Mostro Perforated Leather Pack features two monochromatic color schemes: White Black and Black White. The upper is crafted from high-quality perforated leather, offering a sleek and breathable design. Additional accents include leather Formstrips, eyelets, lockdown straps, and a comfortable mesh sockliner. As mentioned, the upper features lockdown straps, which allow the sneaker to forgo laces for the asymmetrical tongue. The shoe sits atop a grippy rubber outsole, which extends up to portions of the upper for added durability and style.
The Puma Mostro Perforated Leather Pack will release on July 13, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
