The latest Puma MB.02 is ready for on-and-off-the-court action.

Puma was able to revive their performance basketball line with the help of one of the NBA's young stars, LaMelo Ball, in 2022 with the introduction of the Puma MB.01. Instantly becoming a hit for both hoopers and sneakerheads, it didn’t even take a full year to pass before we were introduced to the second iteration, the aptly named Puma MB.02, and a slew of colorways and collabs have already been spotted. Following the reveal that Rick & Morty are once again making their way to a LaMelo Ball Puma silhouette, we’re getting first looks at the Puma MB.02 “White Red Black.”

Coming covered in its usual Monomesh upper, the sneaker partakes in a mainly white approach with various red and black accents seen throughout. Around the toebox, eyestays, and via the midfoot’s wings and Puma logos, a red TPU helps reinforce the upper and provides depth to the upper while black marks the “1” and phoenix logos on the vamp and tongue respectively. While the lace set remains all-white, the tongue features a split color design as the bottom half comes in red and the top comes in a stark white to match the laces as mentioned earlier. Heading to the medial side, a similar TPU wings design is present although this side comes mainly in black with red piping and a small portion coming entirely in red near the heel. Underfoot, a two-tone red and white midsole comes cushioned with Nitro foam and gets paired with a grippy rubber outsole that also comes split between red and white.

The Puma MB.02 White Red Black is set to release in 2023 through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
