Puma’s basketball division relaunched in 2018. The energy at that time was high. They signed a bunch of players that were soon to be drafted in the NBA, veteran NBA players, and even some retired NBA players. Fast forward to December of 2021, LaMelo Ball’s signature sneaker, the Puma MB.01 made its debut. It’s safe to say that since then Puma basketball sneakers have been reinvigorated with the positive feedback surrounding each drop.
LaMelo Ball not only had an out-of-this-world sophomore NBA season, but his debut signature basketball sneaker did as well. Several different colorways of the Puma MB.01 were released, all of which sold very well. The latest being a UFO-themed edition on the first low-top version of the silhouette. It’s safe to assume these will also be sought after like previous releases. The Puma MB.01 Low “UFO” is predominantly covered in High Rise Grey. The sole, inside collar, and lining come in aqua green.
