If you think about it, the Ball family is a little bit like the family at the heart of the Fast and the Furious franchise. They started in Southern California but ended up traveling the globe for random adventures. They love their family more than anything in the world, and, of course, they all love fast cars. For LaMelo’s latest collab collection with Puma, he’s tapping into the Toretto family for a full pack of Fast and the Furious-inspired colorways, turning his MB.05 and LaFlare models into replicas of the most famous cars from the franchise’s first two movies.
The Fast & Furious x Puma Collection features four shoes, including two pairs of MB.05 basketball shoes, one replicating Paul Walker’s character’s orange Toyota Supra from the first movie, and a second in bright pink with white graphic details replicating Suki’s Honda S2000 from 2Fast 2Furious.
Keeping the theme from the first and second movies, the Puma LaFrance colorway replicates the silver and blue Nissan Skyline GT-R that Walker’s character drives in 2Fast 2Furious, complete with the blue racing stripes down the tongue and toe. Last but not least, the LaFrance RNR is covered in a waxed coat of black patent leather like Dom’s 1970 Dodge Charger R/T with three red circles on the toe to represent the exposed-engine design of the iconic car.
The Fast & Furious x Puma Collection will be released Spring 2026 through Puma and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail prices are still TBD. For all the latest LaMelo Ball Puma PE news and release info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
