For adults of a certain age, High School Musical was what ET and Toy Story were to generations before them. The Disney Channel musicals were global sensations in the mid-aughts, and still represent the peak of Zac Efron’s career.

Indiana Pacers superstar Tyrese Haliburton was only six years old when the first High School Musical movie dropped, so there’s a chance that Efron’s hooping high schooler character Troy Bolton was Hali’s first real introduction to the sport. Bolton had such an influence on Haliburton that his latest Puma signature PE is a tribute to the East High School Wildcat star.

The Puma Hali 1 Troy Bolton PE is covered in red mesh and TPU paneling across the upper like an East High School basketball uniform. The colorway adds a red and white gradient midsole, with red on the front half and white on the back. The rest of the midsole beneath it transitions fully to white, to match the white 14 tongue logo for Bolton’s jersey number.
