Joining the festivities alongside other footwear brands, Puma is releasing a Chinese New Year edition of one of its performance basketball models, the Puma All-Pro Nitro. This release follows the reveal of the Puma MB.03 in a similar CNY colorway.
The Puma All-Pro Nitro CNY features a gold engineered mesh upper, which immediately grabs attention and symbolizes prosperity and good fortune, themes commonly associated with the Chinese New Year. Complementing the mesh are tumbled leather overlays in gold, adding a luxurious touch to the design. The sneaker's aesthetic is further enhanced by rose gold hues on the Puma Formstrip and All-Pro branding, and on the TPU eyestay, providing a subtle yet elegant contrast.
Bright orange Puma branding on the tongue and heel adds a vibrant pop of color, creating a festive and lively look. The sneaker is equipped with a Nitro Foam-infused midsole in metallic gold, ensuring both comfort and a cohesive design. The look is completed with a gold rubber outsole, tying the theme together.
The Puma All-Pro Nitro CNY will release on January 12, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. As of this writing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
