Last summer, Reebok came out with a six sneaker pack in collaboration with Hasboro and their Power Rangers IP. While this initial pack touched on the main heroes of the series, this time around the duo are looking to the villains of the show, Rita Repulsa, Rito Revolto, and Lord Zedd, who make their way onto the Reebok Instapump Fury, Reebok Hurrikaze II Low, and the Reebok Answer IV respectively.
Rita’s Instapump Fury comes dressed in a rustic clay covered canvas base with accenting gold, black, brown, and white throughout. Intricate patterns and details can be found placed on multiple portions of the upper with the space witch's staff making an appearance on the tongue and the faux fur on the heel overlay mimicking her headdress. Rounding out her look is the white midsole with brown accents on the rear, set to a black rubber outsole.
For the recently renamed Hurrikaze II Low (formerly the Kamikaze), we get Rito Revolto’s split design in full form with an asymmetric color scheme of cream and camo. Details nodding to the villain can be found around the upper with “Evil Space Alien” and Rito’s face placed on the tongue tag along with notable quotes “Let’s Mamba!” and “I got a life and I’m lovin’ it” seen on the vamp. Finishing up his look is the two-tone camo and cream on the midsole and a cream colored rubber outsole with hits of yellow and red for pop.
Finally for Lord Zedd, we get the Reebok Answer IV in a mix of standard and patent leather dressed in red and silver. The toebox and midfoot stripe come covered in the previously mentioned silver with the tongue shroud and collar portion coming in red. Hints of green make their way onto the eyelets and branding placed on the heel and midsole. As with the other villains, we see details directly nodding to Lord Zedd himself with a blue tube running from heel to toe mimicking his armor and the man's face taking over AI’s on the two-tone red and silver rubber outsole. To complete Lord Zedd’s look, the DMX cushioned midsole comes split between the upper's red and silver makeup.
Alongside the three villains, Reebok is also giving us a Mighty Morphin’ inspired Reebok Zig Dynamica covered in grey mesh. Along the midfoot portion, side stripes are placed that come inspired by the Power Rangers themselves. Further details that nod to the hero’s are placed on the tongue tags and on the insoles. Rounding everything out for this look is the zigzag patterned FuelFoam midsole in grey, set to a light gum rubber outsole.
The Power Rangers x Reebok Villain Pack is scheduled to drop exclusively through Reebok.com on March 25th, 2022. All three pairs will come in unisex sizing with the Instapump Fury retailing for $200, Hurrikaze II Low for $140, and the Answer IV coming in at $170.
