Some of the best childhood memories come from hot summer days spent outside with friends and family, usually cooling off with a sweet treat once playtime is over. Though many preferred to hit the ice cream truck, an ice pop, often the Popsicle brand, helped keep us cool on those scorching summer days. In an effort to bring us back to those days of unwrapping a Popsicle, Reebok has teamed up with the 100-plus-year-old company to cover the Reebok Classic Leather and Classic Leather SP in colorways that mimic some of their most iconic flavors.
Colorways within this collaborative project range from monochromatic palettes to multicolor designs that all, as previously mentioned, come inspired by classic flavors from the Popsicle brand. The all-leather build remains true to the OG, aside from some branding replacements courtesy of Popsicle, located on the tongue tag, insole, heel tab, and through the peel-away Reebok midfoot window, mimicking the sensation of opening up a fresh Popsicle out of its plastic wrapping. Rounding out the look on all the pairs is the EVA midsole paired with a high-abrasion-resistant rubber outsole.
The entire Popsicle x Reebok Classic Leather Collection is slated to release on August 4th, 2022 through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, the retail price for adult pairs is set between $90 and $95.
