The bad news is, these have already sold out. The good news? You likely didn’t have the $85,000 needed to secure a pair, anyway. Pharrell is back at it in Paris, carrying on Virgil’s tradition of bringing Louis Vuitton to the street level with a new Timberland collab. While we had a shot at copping pairs last August, which included classic Wheat colorways and monogram-covered renditions of the 6-Inch Boot, there seems to be an even rarer version of Pharrell’s LV Timbs out there.
The boot itself is draped in premium brown LV monogram leather, adding an unmistakable Louis look to the pair of Timbs that looks like a custom done by Dapper Dan in the ‘80s in the best way possible. More luxury flair is added with 18K gold accessories on the lace loops and LV tongue logo. The Timberland Tree logo is added to the lateral heel, the laces are standard hiking strings, and the sole is gum brown to complete the elevated classic.
Creative agency owner Thierry Tek posted a pair of the boots on Instagram this week, a 10.5 that he found in Tokyo, claiming them as the last pair available in the wild. Beyond the luxurious material and exclusive collab branding, the boots come in a clear-front mini LV trunk made specifically to house the shoes.
With an insane retail price of £65,000 (approx. $85,000), it’s hard to imagine how much these will go for on the secondary market, but with Pharrell, LV, and Timberland attached and only 50 pairs in existence, we know a few New York rappers who will take a second mortgage on a house or two to make it happen.
