Pharrell Williams is certainly no stranger when it comes to adidas collabs. Over the past few years, he has been working closely with the German sportswear giant to release some of the most futuristic-looking sneakers that we've ever seen, including the NMD S1 RYAT "Core Black" that literally just dropped. With that said, it looks like the American artist and fashion icon will be diving head first into adi's archives with the Pharrell Williams x adidas Humanrace Samba "White" - and here's everything that we know so far.
Spotted on his feet during the second day of the Mighty Dream Forum, an annual leadership and networking event held in Skateboard P's home state of Virginia, an untrained eye might think that these were just another classic pair of Sambas. However, upon closer inspection you'll find that there's so much more to it. Crafted from a crisp white leather construction, grey suede wraps around the toebox, while black leather adorns the heel and Three Stripe branding on the sidewalls. This is accompanied by very subtle "Humanrace" branding in all caps which nods to Pharrell's own brand. The Samba then sits on top of a retro gum rubber midsole, finalizing the simple yet sophisticated design.
Not much else is known about the Pharrell Williams x adidas Humanrace Samba White at this moment in time, but these are rumored to release in 2023 in men's sizes with a retail price yet TBA.
