Pharrell Williams and adidas have continued to collaborate through the unique Humanrace designs brought forth by Skateboard P. Even with the hip-hop and design mogul landing a gig at Louis Vuitton, it seems the projects with adidas will still be a focus as a new colorway of the Pharrell Williams x adidas Humanrace Samba has appeared in “Lilac.”
This latest iteration of the Humanrace Samba features a premium lilac leather upper with tonal stitching details throughout. The three stripes branding on the side features extra stitching details, while the Humanrace branding can be seen along the lateral midfoot. Atop the tongue sits an outline Trefoil logo, with the heel forgoing any branding details. Rawhide leather laces add a premium look to this high-quality collab and keep the color scheme monochromatic as they come covered in lilac. Underfoot sits a tonal purple rubber midsole and outsole, completing the sneaker’s design. A custom purple co-branded Humanrace and adidas box will house the pair and include a Humanrace-branded dust bag and additional laces.
The Pharrell Williams x adidas Humanrace Samba Lilac will release April 28 at Pharrell's Something In The Water music festival and on May 6 through adidas Confirmed and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
