Sosa still has pull. Chief Keef, the man responsible for popularizing Chicago drill rap, has grown up a lot since he was a 16-year-old changing the course of music forever, but he’s still dropping new music and getting packages from Skateboard P.
In a new Instagram post, Keef showed off a never-before-seen colorway of Pharrell’s adidas Adistar Jellyfish in a brown and slime green colorway. Wearing the left shoe and holding the right, Sosa made it clear that he was the only one with the pair, adding a “yeen got these on” caption above the shoe.
The colorway is a perfect match for Keef’s career-long obsession with slime green. Starting with a dark brown mesh base, the green is added on the TPU panels and accents on the toe, heel, and midsole. A lighter tan shade climbs the lace panel and heel, while a light blue teal finishes it all up on the bottom TPU waves.
So far, we haven’t heard any word on a release date or retail price for the brown and green Jellyfish colorway, but if Pharrell sent them out to Sosa, expect him to roll out more info to the rest of us soon.
