Melbourne's very own P.A.M. has teamed up with Puma for the very first time to unveil the PAM/PUMA BIO/VERSE project. Established in 2000, the streetwear label is world-renowned for its vibrant and psychedelic collections, and this season, Misha "Perks" Hollenbach and Shauna "Mini" Toohey are bringing this fun and carefree aesthetic to four iconic sneakers for the Perks And Mini x Puma Collection.
Heavily inspired by nature, Perks And Mini and Puma have worked on four sneakers, including the Nano, Prevail Disk, Puffy Sandal, and of course, the Suede VTG. Offered in a selection of organic color palettes, these are all sustainably crafted and made of natural materials across the board. The highlight of the range has got to be the Suede, which features a lush green construction that's inspired by the Yareta, a blobby green plant native to South America. As well as the footwear pack, the PAM/PUMA BIO/VERSE project also features 20 styles of apparel and accessories such as 100% down-filled puffer jackets and bucket hats, bottles, and trail backpacks.
"From the start, we saw this project as an opportunity to make something together that could go beyond fashion, and the Puma team was instantly supportive." stated Shauna Toohey, co-founder of Perks and Mini. "So, as part of the PAM/PUMA BIO/VERSE, we suggested created a project that worked to protect threatened wild places on the planet; the same kind of places that inspired the collection."
The P.A.M. x Puma Collection is scheduled to release on November 5th, 2022 in men's sizes via Perks And Mini, Puma, and select online and in-store retailers across the globe.
