As the cold weather descends, it's time to bring out the cozy kicks and relax. With the change in seasons comes everyone’s favorite depressed adolescent, Charlie Brown, perpetually on the hunt for the Great Pumpkin, grubbing up on Thanksgiving, or celebrating Christmas. Charles Schulz's creation has become intrinsically tied to the holiday season, and as it gets colder, Crocs is bringing out Chuck and his best pal Snoopy for a wintry pair of Crocs Classic Clogs.
Good Grief
The silhouette comes dressed in a powder blue shade dotted with snowflakes and trees across the upper in Schultz’s signature style. Instead of the same flat depiction, Peanuts stars Charlie Brown and Snoopy get transformed into Jibbitz that take up residence on the right and left clog, respectively. Brown comes in winter gear with a long-sleeve shirt and pants in a slight modification to his usual look, while Snoopy dons a beanie. The lateral heel gets adorned with Schultz's depiction of the mountainside.
The backstrap forgoes the raised Crocs branding in favor of painted Crocs text on the heel, with the now memeified Snoopy in a puffer coat replacing the letter O. Anchoring that backstrap is a button that features Snoopy’s partner in adventure, Woodstock. Of course, the winter-ready gear wouldn’t be finished without a layer of coziness; Crocs takes a cue from the puffer Snoopy and goes for warmth with a fleece-lined footbed. Wrapping up the look is a clean white outside that matches the snowy look of the sandal.
