The Patta x Nike Air Max 90 Waves Pack Releases Summer 2025

Amsterdam-based label Patta has long collaborated with Nike, specifically on Air Max models. Their first project dates back to 2005 when Patta covered the Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Max 1 in chlorophyll hues, but the early 2020s also featured a series of Air Max 1 projects from the duo. These sneakers all came with reworked wavy mudguards, rightfully dubbed the Air Max 1 Wave. This design motif is now making its way to the Air Max 90.
Previews of this Patta x Nike Air Max 90 Waves design came last year when Edson Sabajo, one of Patta’s co-founders, posted a photo of the Sapphire colorway. Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck was recently spotted wearing the Cyber colorway on stage at City Splash 2025 in London. Both pairs exhibit the same design makeover, including the wavy mudguard on the profile, Patta branding on the tongue, and a lenticular Patta and Nike-branded panel near the collar.
The Patta x Nike Air Max 90 Waves Pack will release in Summer 2025 through Patta, Nike, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $150.
