When the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Waves” Collection was released in 2021 four colorways dropped, “Noise Aqua,” “Monarch," “Rush Maroon,” and “Black.” A fifth pair, dubbed the “Roman Forever” edition also surfaced. That pair was a 1-of-1, made exclusively for Patta co-founder Edson Sabajo to honor his son who passed away in early 2021. While the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Roman Forever” edition did not release, it looks like a very similar colorway is set to release in the second half of 2022.
Coming in summit white, wolf grey, and coconut milk, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Waves “White” edition sports white leather overlays paired with wolf grey mesh underlays. More hits of grey are found via the suede Swoosh on the sides, back heel, and top eyestays. Aged, coconut milk accents can be seen via the lining, laces, and midsole. Traditional “Nike Air” branding adorns the back heel, in place of “Roman Forever” on the unreleased pair.
The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Waves White is set to release in August 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, Patta, and select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online.
