Patent Leather Air Jordan 1 Bred Releases this December

Originally released in 1985, the Jordan 1 OG “Bred" has stood the test of time and is arguably the greatest sneaker of all time. The legendary colorway is making its return this December, with the release of the Jordan 1 Retro High OG Bred Patent Leather.

Staying true to the OG Bred color blocking, the AJ1 Patent’s upper is comprised of black and red patent leather and features the all too familiar white midsole. Notable differences that distinguish this release from its predecessors are the metallic red Jumpman hang tag along with the word “Family," embroidered on the sockliner of the sneaker. The sneaker will come in special packaging and include red, black, and white laces. The subtle differences illustrate that Jordan Brand went with am "if it ain't broke don't fix it" approach this time around.

Releasing December 30th on Nike SNKRS and at select retailers, the Jordan 1 Retro High OG Patent will retail for $170. It will also be releasing in a full family size run. The sneaker is the most anticipated release of Jordan Brand’s holiday lineup and is expected to be fairly limited.
