The two skateboarding icons come together to create the Palace x Vans Skate Half-Cab 92 GTX Collection.
Streetwear and skateboarding legends, Palace has had the luxury of collaborating not only in these two industries but with various IPs and even a surprise high-fashion collaboration with Gucci in their decade-plus-long history. Sticking to its skateboarding roots, the UK-based label is teaming up with Cali-based Vans on a pack of Half-Cab 92s covered in Gore-Tex in three distinct colorways.
Coming to us in a “Navy,” “Wheat,” and “Black” colorway, the three sneakers all come constructed out of the same Gore-Tex-covered suede with white accent stitching popping off the upper around the edges of each panel. Stark white laces run up the tongue towards the co-branded Half-Cab and Palace tag while this same image is stitched along the lateral collar. Multiple instances of Gore-Tex branding can be found as well with the text debossed on the heel and the iconic tag you’ll find on any sneaker that utilizes the material located near the collar. Rounding out the design is the vulcanized rubber midsole in white paired with a gum rubber outsole.
The Palace x Vans Skate Half-Cab 92 GTX Collection is slated to release through Palace online and in-store at Dover Street Market London and LA on December 30th, 2022. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is currently TBA.
