Skechers is Releasing OG Anunoby's SKX Nexus N

The New York Knicks' championship win in June added a rose-colored tint to everything in the Big Apple. From the subway rats to the rooftops, everything was drenched in a sea of blue and orange as Grand Theft Alvarado instantly captured the same celeb status as Timmy Chalamet. The Knicks' win also did the unthinkable, pushing fashion-forward New Yorkers to seek out a pair of Skechers.

OG’s New Season Starts at Extra Butter

On its path to sneaker culture relevance, Skechers popped up with some serious NBA talent on its roster, including Joel Embiid in Philly and, a couple of hours up 95, OG Anunoby in NYC. After bringing new hype to Skechers with the championship win, OG is back with Skechers for another drop, dropping his SKX Nexus NYC Blue PE at legendary NYC sneaker boutique Extra Butter.

The event is the latest spotlight on OG’s monochrome blue PE colorway with orange co-branded details on the tongue tag to match the orange laces. The blue colorway went up for pre-order in July, but if you missed your issue during the hazy championship hangover, the Extra Butter drop is your chance to do right by OG. Who knows, maybe OG will be walking by and stop in for some new kicks.
