Puma has had an exciting run of collaborations lately, and it's not slowing down anytime soon. This time, it's paired with Noah, NYC-based brand known for marrying youthful energy with mature sophistication. In an exciting venture, Noah has chosen to resurrect the Puma Star, an unsung classic of Puma's heritage that never saw a stateside release.
The sneaker sticks to a white and blue palette, underscoring the clean, minimalistic aesthetic synonymous with tennis gear. In staying true to the silhouette's roots, Noah's rendition of the Puma Star bears several distinguishing elements that made it a tennis icon. Stitched onto the shoe at the base, a rubber cup sole ensures durability and support. The outsole features a split herringbone traction pattern designed for quick pivots and swift movements. The upper is punctuated by a perforated Formstrip, the iconic Puma branding detail.
The Noah x Puma Star will release June 29 through Noah and July 1 through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
