Two years after the release of Samuel Ross' A-COLD-WALL* collaboration, sneakerheads everywhere have been yearning for the Zoom Vomero 5 to make a comeback, and now, Nike has officially made these wishes come true by bringing back the 2010 runner in its original form with the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 "Vast Grey."
Even though the Zoom Vomero 5 was introduced just over ten years ago, it's clear that the Beaverton brand was inspired by classic models from the '80s and '90s for this release. Seen here in a clean "Vast Grey" palette, the upper is crafted from a combination of leather and mesh with TPU elements adorning the midfoot cage and heel counter, both of which have been intricately decorated. A Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, and underfoot, you'll find a sail Cushlon midsole that's as comfortable as it gets. To round it all off, the insole features an illustrative portrait of Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman, complete with the tagline "Bowerman Series" underneath.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Vast Grey is set to release in February 2023. It is launching at Nike and select retailers in-store and online in men's sizes with retail set at $160. For more on this colorway as well as future drops, follow us over on Twitter and download our official Mobile App today!
