As the fashion world continues to revisit the distinctive styles of the early 2010s, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 has returned triumphantly to the spotlight. Ahead of the launch of an all-pink "Barbie" rendition, images of the "Ultra Red" colorway have emerged.
This new "Ultra Red" variant of the Zoom Vomero 5 employs deep shades of university red across the sneaker's multi-material upper. The mixed composition of suede, leather, mesh, and TPU enhances the overall visual impact of the sneaker. A foundational layer of white mesh provides contrast, with additional white accents appearing on the tongue tag. The iconic Nike Swoosh shines in silver and features a 3M reflective finish. Underneath, a red and white Zoom Air and Cushlon midsole is matched with a durable red rubber outsole.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Premium Ultra Red will release October 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
